Kenergy Solar is a DC based solar installation firm that serves the residential and small commercial markets in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Kenergy specializes in providing turnkey solar systems that help homeowners and businesses reduce their electric costs and carbon footprints. Kenergy was founded in 2009 and has since grown to a 10-person team that has installed over 200 solar projects.
In addition to his leadership at Kenergy, Ken was elected boardmember of the MD, DC, VA Solar Energy Industries Association (MDV-SEIA) in 2010 for his industry development work. Among his many accomplishments was the preservation of net metering in Maryland, the very premise that allows integrated energy solutions. He is also a member of the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council and a former Vice Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors for the Potomac Region Solar Energy Association.
